Sometimes I feel so sad that I can’t write anymore :(
I have nearly 10,000 words of an NYC Public Librarian AU written but it was never finished or posted. Same with my two unfinished stories. I sometimes really wish I could write again.

Oh my gosh libraries, oh my gosh.
New York Library to be precise but a library is a library when you’re talking about back rooms and stacks of books…!
It has been fun but I’ve still got a lot of work to do! AUs tend to screw with your head, I find! But YEY for you being pleased about the topic!
My BlaineBigBang is set in a library and I have NEVER looked at more pictures of book shelves in my life.
It is pretty much heaven.
OH MY GOD.
A scene in The Newsroom takes place in a back room of New York City Library in one of the beautiful sections full of rich wood and pretty lighting.
I’m busy writing my BBBang and my god is this perfect inspiration. It’s literally EXACTLY as I imagined it would be…
These images are porn for my brain. Seriously, my little grey cells just got off. Loudly.

A little present because I can’t cuddle people myself.
————————-
He’s there.
He’s walking slowly but there’s a twitch to his step that makes it clear he wants to run. There’s urgency in the air but perhaps he wants to savour the moment too.
He looks devastating; he’s so handsome, so soft and gentle in his movement but when he gets close, Kurt can barely breathe as Blaine rushes all at once, arms tight and closed in a loop around his neck.
It’s all breathing against skin and squeezing hard until Kurt’s incapable of blinking back tears any longer.
“I missed - I missed you,” he breathes out, helpless
Blaine weakens, crumbling forward and straight into Kurt’s chest. “So much.”
Kurt feels a nose pressing warm against his neck and eventually a hot wetness, eyelashes tickling at his skin.
Blaine’s here. He’s so close and real and also an idiot.
None of it matters though because details are superfluous, so irrelevant when Blaine’s wrapped up frantically in his arms and cracked open with relief.
Blaine’s fingers are clenched into the back of his jacket, clinging hard and Kurt can feel his body reacts to the proximity immediately, relaxing; there’s an exhale of a breath held for a long long time.
“I’m so sorry, Kurt,” Blaine whispers, voice small but endlessly brave. “I was so wrong. So stupid.”
Kurt doesn’t speak, just nods into the comfortable folds of Blaine’s thick wool cardigan and screws his eyes closed with indescribable gratitude at the sound of Blaine’s miraculous, half choked laughter.
Feel free to send any my way and I’ll fill them on my train journey home as I’m trying ANYTHING to distract myself from the fact I’m dying in the heat.
Title: Constant
Word Count: ~4,700
Warnings: AU - You may need to be aware of Wild Horses in order to read this but it does stand alone as a one-shot by itself if you know that Kurt/Blaine met as pen pals and wrote to one another for a long time before they got together.
Rating: PG-13
Summary: A local PFLAG scheme uses the lost art of letter writing to bring people together. Set in the future beyond the whole story, it’s Kurt’s birthday and there’s a surprise waiting for him at home.
Author’s Notes:
I ALWAYS wanted to write more in this Verse. It was such a special process to write this story and although I could go back and change so much, make it better etc, I have such fondness for this version of the characters and couldn’t help but write this. It is an idea I had way back when I wrote the final Chapter and I’ve been sitting with this written in pieces on my laptop for months. I eventually got it all finished off and I’m so happy I did.
I am still so touched by how many messages I get about this story and it means the WORLD to me so this is my little present to those people who have said such lovely things and made me very happy when I really did need that.
Please please please enjoy and if you have a problem seeing the graphics (yes, I couldn’t resist!) then let me know :)

From strangers to friends to more and all thanks to the magic of snail mail.
— I’ve been asked so many times now and have been so busy that I’m sorry it has taken me so long to make this. Despite the crazy long wait, it’s all here in one document for you to download with graphics included. I’m still so overwhelmed and grateful to everyone for your lovely comments about this story - it still needs a lot of work but I get messages about it almost every day and for a story I finished a long time ago, that’s pretty special to me.
Pleas enjoy and do let me know if you have any problems with the download.
